This high-performance silent-operation panel flipper is designed to turn flat panels 90° or 180° during production. It can handle wood panels, plywood, MDF, particle board, veneer, melamine board, WPC board, calcium silicate board, fiber cement board, magnesium oxide board, glass-magnesium board, door skins, cabinet panels, thin metal sheets and light sheet-metal parts. Typical load capacity ranges from about 50 kg for light woodworking models to several tons for heavy-duty metal-processing versions, depending on configuration.
Finished Products and Process Use
The machine does not cut or form the product itself. It is used to flip panels between process steps, especially for:
Woodworking panels: door skins, cabinet side panels, furniture boards, laminated boards.
Coated or finished boards: after painting, sanding, veneering, pressing or laminating.
Metal sheet parts: after welding, grinding, polishing, inspection or surface treatment.
Inspection and packing lines: to check both sides or prepare panels for stacking.
Production Process
Panels are fed into the flipper by roller, chain or belt conveyor. The clamping or vacuum system holds the workpiece, then the turning mechanism rotates it to the required angle. After flipping, the panel is released and continues to the next station.
Key process features:
90° / 180° flipping for flexible line layout.
Hydraulic, pneumatic or servo drive for smooth and stable turning.
Adjustable clamping or vacuum holding to fit different panel sizes and thicknesses.
Silent / low-noise design for cleaner workshop environments.
Roller or chain conveyor docking for upstream and downstream equipment.
PLC control, safety guarding and emergency stop for safe operation.
Problems It Solves
Replaces manual panel flipping, reducing labor and safety risks.
Prevents surface scratches, dents and edge damage during turning.
Improves line continuity between sanding, coating, pressing, welding and inspection.
Increases production stability for heavy, large or fragile panels.
Reduces worker fatigue and dependence on experienced operators.
Supports automation upgrades for woodworking, furniture, door and metal-processing factories.
Industry Needs and Applications
This panel flipper is suitable for woodworking factories, furniture manufacturers, door and cabinet producers, panel coating lines, plywood and board plants, metal fabrication workshops, sheet-metal processing lines and automated material-handling systems. It is especially useful for buyers who need quiet operation, stable panel handling, low surface damage, fast line integration and reliable 180° flipping for wood, composite and light metal panels.
